After discovering that AT&T might charge its customers for using FaceTime over cellular data, Sprint told the Wall Street Journal that they will not charge customers extra for using their unlimited data on applications. “We are committed to our unlimited data and that means not charging for data consumption based on the application,” Sprint told the Wall Street Journal.
Verizon, the other greedy AT&T competitor, might charge for FaceTime over cellular data 3G 4G in the future. Verizon told GottaBeMobile that it’s too early to talk about how much they will charge their customer for FaceTime over data. ‘The timing of any pricing conversations related to future versions of iOS is premature”, said Verizon spokesperson.
