Soon if you take your iPhone 5c to an Apple store you will not receive a new clean unit… you’ll receive the same unit you took. Beginning on Monday, January 20th, Apple will repair your iPhone 5c broken screen in the store, ย reports 9to5Mac. Apple have already supplied their store with iPhone 5cย screens andย special calibration machines. This program will save Apple money now that they won’t have to give you a completely cleaned refurbished iPhone unit like they have been doing since the 5c came out. The screen replacement will cost customers $149, and only the screen will be replaced – not the whole unit. This policy will be added to iPhone 5s devices in the future, 9to5Mac says.
Apple started replacing iPhone 5 parts on June of last years. They currently charge $150 for iPhone 5 screen replacement.
