Soon if you take your iPhone 5c to an Apple store you will not receive a new clean unit… you’ll receive the same unit you took. Beginning on Monday, January 20th, Apple will repair your iPhone 5c broken screen in the store, reports 9to5Mac. Apple have already supplied their store with iPhone 5c screens and special calibration machines. This program will save Apple money now that they won’t have to give you a completely cleaned refurbished iPhone unit like they have been doing since the 5c came out. The screen replacement will cost customers $149, and only the screen will be replaced – not the whole unit. This policy will be added to iPhone 5s devices in the future, 9to5Mac says.
Apple started replacing iPhone 5 parts on June of last years. They currently charge $150 for iPhone 5 screen replacement.
