A white Xbox One model will be released later this year for those who do not like the black model. This year, Microsoft will release two Xbox One bundles with one game each, a spokesperson told Polygon during a press event last week. Thankfully, one of the bundles will not just come with a game and that’s it, it will introduce the white Xbox One console to the general public. This bundle will be the Sunset Overdrive bundle, an open-world game developed by Insomniac Games. The bundle will come with the first white Xbox One consoles sold to the general population. Although Sunset Overdrive will be available on October 28, no date has been given for the release of the bundle.
Microsoft will also release a Madden 15 Xbox one bundle. The bundle will come with a digital code for you to download the game from Xbox Live along with three Pro Packs for Madden Ultimate Team. This bundle will be released on August 26 for $399 and no Kinect.
Microsoft is not the only gaming company releasing a white console. Sony also announced a PS4 bundle which will come with a white console. The bundle will be packed with Bungie’s Destiny, a 500GB system, and a white DualShock 4.
